Summary 0001140: Snort rule fetching generates a high bandwidth load on emerging threats server
Description The cronjob which is used to fetch the snort rules runs on all firewalls using the same update interval at the same time. This generates a lot of concurrent traffic on the emerging threats server.

Solution: The firewalls should fetch the rules using anacron.

 Uses anacron instead of cron. Older machines are adjusted to use the new method
