|0002051||Endian Firewall||Security||public||2009-07-29 15:46||2010-03-08 20:24|
|Priority||normal||Severity||minor||Reproducibility||have not tried|
|Target Version||future||Fixed in Version|
|Summary||0002051: When changing hostname of endian, certificates remain with the old hostname|
|Description||I have changed the hostname of my endian|
Example: from "old.endian.tom" to "new.endian.tom"
Then I reinstalled Firefox, and all old certificates were gone.
After reconnecting to Endian I got an error message, saying that the certificate is not valid, because it belongs to another webiste (old.endian.tom) then the one that I want to visit (new.endian.tom). It seems like the certificate was once generated with the old name and did not notice that there is a need for regenerating one with the new hostname.

old certificate is deleted but apache will not be restarted when applying netwizard settings
next /etc/init.d/httpd restart (reboot for example) creates new certificates with the new hostname
